这是应聘外资银行面试税务职位的英文自我介绍原文，供想进外资银行的童鞋们一个参考。

i’m glad to introduce myself to you. my chinese name is ma lin, but you can call me rock, my english name. i chose rock to be my english name because i want to be as tough as a rock, hehe. i was born and raised in guangdong, so i speak both cantonese and mandarin.

besides having good academic performance, i was actively involved in student activities. i was in charge of student welfare (生活委员) in my class, and in the student union of our school. i enjoyed this position because what i did was very important to everybody, although it was mostly small details.

i had a three-month internship in guangdong zhengzhong accounting firm. i did the inventory check and helped the accountants to make the auditing reports. my boss was pleased with my performance and he asked me to recommend my classmate to join our team.

kpmg is my dream company. what’s more, i have great interest in joining the tax department as my long term career goal is to be a tax consultant. i wish my dream could come true today. thank you! (笔者备注： 英文面试只注重事实， 不谈“dream”。)

1. self-introduction(achievement, strength, weakness...)（70%）

根据研究数据，自我介绍在所有的行业被问到的次数都是最高的。这是在所有的问题中，唯一一个应聘者有着充分主动权的问题。应该怎么来回答这个问题呢？

大多数从网上搜到的指导都写得太随意。这里我先来引述一下robert.lock的建议：

“很多面试官认为这是一个很好的破冰问题，一种得到内在信息的途径，也给应聘者一些时间的限制。你怎么介绍？你介绍你最喜欢的人，天气或你的宠物鹦鹉？在面试前，想一下你如何回答这类开放式问题。实际的问题可能是“告诉我一些你简历上没有的信息。如果你缺乏准备，这个最初的问题将会使你手足无措。面试官要求你说一些事情，但是你要说什么并不确定。在数千个可供选择的主题中，你应选择对你最重要的话题来讲。”

2.why do you apply for this company/position？（60%） 类似的问题还有

(1)请说一下对商业银行业务的认识，以及为什么选择商业银行。(30%)

(2) why investment banking? how do you know about investment banking（20%）

3. 举一个领导团队的例子，来同时说明你对领导能力的理解（40%）

我一直很疑惑hr为什么问这个问题。但既然有人问，就要准备一下。先看一下领导力是怎么定义的。然后找几个案例，用topaq的结构阐述一下就可以了。

4. 在其他公司实习的收获？（35%）

5. work under pressure的经历（25%）

6. 团队合作中处理分歧的例子（20%）

7. 在困难条件下，成功决策/完成任务的例子（20%）
